Writing Article Resource Box to Create Backlinks to your Site
If you are already into article writing, you probably know what a resource box is. Resource box is the only place in the article you write where you can promote what you want to offer. If your purpose of writing articles is for backlinking, it is very important that you create an article that has the same theme or topic with the pages of the site you are linking to. You should create a different resource box for different pages of your site with different topics. You should tailor your resource box to your article and make sure that you are giving your reader a good reason to click through your site.
However, if a reader leaves your article without clicking your link, remember that the link you use in your resource box counts as a back link to your site. If you are targeting a certain keyphrase and you use it as a link to your site, Google will count it as a vote for your site for that keyphrase. For me that is the easiest way to generate a one-way link to your site without spending any money to buy a text link or pay web directories to list your site.
I have seen the power of resource box to help your site rank and if you can write articles you should use that to your advantage.
1.) Gather three or four important keyphrases you want to rank for. I assume that you already did some keyword research before writing an article for the purpose of backlinks.
2.) Create an article around the keyphrases but don’t overdo it. (You don’t have to use the exact keyphrase if it would not make sense using it in your sentence.)
3.) Create a compelling resource box using the exact keyphrase as link.
4.) Submit your articles to the most important directories. It would be much better if you could create at least three versions of your article and submit each version to at least five article directories. For article directories that gives you best results, create a completely different version of your article.
